The Intersection Between Semantic Web and Materials Science

The application and benefits of Semantic Web Technologies (SWT) for managing, sharing, (re-)using research data are demonstrated in implementations the field Materials Science Engineering (MSE). However, a compilation classification needed to fully recognize scattered published works with its unique added values. Here, primary use SWT at interface MSE is identified using specifically created categories.
